Previously, in the mass production of PCB boards, many customers would choose to get help, first of all, to test their products for usability. They need to find a factory for prototyping the corresponding circuit boards. Today's market has many types of board factories, and a lot needs to be done. Military-grade boards need to be made, double-sided boards need to be made, small and fixed batches need to be made, testing needs to be done, and there are only simple boards. PCB circuit board manufacturers are mainly divided into two major parts; one is rapid prototyping, which is for making small quantities, is faster, and is more for urgent cases; the other is mass production, which is mass production and is within the normal delivery time range.


Testing is generally divided into 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours. The normal delivery time

The delivery time of normal delivery depends on many factors of the PCB circuit board. Look at how many layers the board has, check the process, single-sided or double-sided testing of the PCB circuit board, generally, it takes 4-5 days, for a four-layer board, it takes 8-10 days, especially depending on the level. Production difficulty. The general single-sided test takes 4-5 days. Batch takes 5-7 days. Double-sided takes 5-6 days. Of course, if you have urgent needs, you can also do 48-hour or 24-hour tests, but you need to pay for the expedited quota, set a good delivery date in the contract, and manufacturers can usually deliver. That's the basic thing!


What factors determine the time of the testing cycle when testing circuit boards?

Circuit diagrams

Circuit diagrams include the minimum line spacing for line width, the minimum line spacing for grid lines, the minimum character width for printed characters, the minimum BGAs and vias, the inner and outer copper thickness of the finished product, wiring, and shape spacing. Only by understanding and knowing the modification of these parameters is a major analysis of the quality of the circuit diagram.


Making holes and profiles

The details that need to be paid attention to when making holes are the same as the circuit diagram mentioned in the first point above. As for the profile, on the other hand, the minimum drilling diameter, the maximum size, and V-CUT need to be checked. The profile should be complete and clean.


Solder resist and bonding board

There are different types of solder resist. Know the design spacing between each type of solder resist; as for positioning, pay attention to the problem of spacing and know the positioning requirements of the inner layer of the hole and also more than one type of positioning delivery.


Number of layers and number of boards

Here we need to pay attention to the maximum number of layers, the surface treatment process, the copper thickness tolerance of the board, the copper thickness tolerance of the board, and the type of board. Use the appropriate design software to ensure the production quality of the circuit board.

There is no way to choose. Confirming the delivery time of products from PCB testing manufacturers is not fixed, and the quality is also difficult to guarantee.
