PCB board common layout principles

一、 according to the signal layout principles.

1. Usually arranged in accordance with the flow of signals one by one the location of each functional circuit unit to the core components of each functional circuit as the center, around which the layout.

2. The layout of the components should facilitate the flow of signals, so that the signals as far as possible to maintain a consistent direction. In most cases, the flow of signals is arranged from left to right or from top to bottom, and the inputs and outputs directly connected to the components should be placed near the input and output connectors or connectors.

二、the rules of component arrangement.

1. Under normal conditions, all components should be arranged on the same surface of the printed circuit, only in the top layer of components is too dense, can be a number of highly limited and small heat devices, such as chip resistors, chip capacitors, paste IC and so on in the bottom layer.

2. Under the premise of ensuring electrical performance, the components should be placed on the grid and arranged parallel or perpendicular to each other, in order to be neat, beautiful, and generally do not allow the components to overlap; components should be arranged in a compact manner, the input and output components as far away as possible.

3. The components with high voltage should be arranged in a place that is not easily accessible by hand during commissioning.

4. Components located at the edge of the board, at least 2 board thickness away from the edge of the board.

5. There may be a high potential difference between a component or wire, should increase their distance to avoid accidental short-circuit caused by discharge, breakdown.

6. Components should be distributed evenly and sparsely throughout the board.
